Anderson groaned and stretched, then turned over to get some sun on his front and let his back cool off a bit.

So far as being unemployed went, it was a hell of a lot more fun the second time around than it had been the first. That time, his mother had practically thrown him out of the house she was so offended he'd dared to stop working for the family business. His father had cast him disapproving looks and stony silences for a week, and his sister had enthusiastically followed their examples. After his mother had gotten over her offense enough to talk to him, she had started in with the harassing and guilt-tripping. Then had come the scoffing while he worked on joining the Bureau. His family was breathtakingly supportive when he fell in line and rampantly hostile when he did not. And heaven help him if his sexual escapades came into it.

Thankfully, after he'd made it into the Bureau, they'd settled once again into mostly not talking to him. His mother called once in a blue moon, and his sister occasionally left a passive aggressive message where he'd be sure to see it, but otherwise it was all blissful silence from that corner of his life.

He was more than happy to be the family reject when it meant sunbathing bare ass naked in his own backyard while his fiancé lazed around the bottom of the pool.

Three weeks after his impulse proposal, the quiet little thrill of that word had not gone away. It was still special and new enough that he hadn't wanted to ruin the high by calling his family. Their friends knew, Lynn's family knew, but his own family could friggin' wait. They'd be nothing but jackasses about it, and he wasn't in a hurry to see Lynn's feelings hurt. Or go to prison for the murder Anderson would commit immediately after they did it.

Anderson yawned and tucked one arm behind his head, stretching the other out so his fingers just barely dangled in the water.

Soft rippling and splashing was all the warning he had before a tentacle came slithering up, stroking playfully at his fingers before wrapping around his wrist and snaking up his arm. Well-trained to the sensation of tentacles on his skin, Anderson's cock started to harden. "You lasted longer than I thought."

Lynn's only reply was a faint snicker as another tentacle trailed over Anderson's foot and slowly up his leg, leaving cool water on his sun-warmed skin. Anderson shivered but didn't move, content to sprawl indolently while Lynn did as he pleased.

More tentacles lifted from the water, splashing cool water across his skin, leaving sticky, oily rainbow trails. Anderson made soft noises of approval as one slender tentacle wrapped around his cock and stroked it lightly, while another snaked down and back to tease at his hole.

He swore in protest when the tentacles wrapped around his limbs and hauled him up, pouting as his sunglasses tumbled into the pool. "Unnecessary." He shifted
